General
Overview of HomeOSense and who it helps
What is HomeOSense?
HomeOSense is an AI-powered homeopathy consultation platform that follows classical Kent repertory methods to suggest remedies, capture cases, and help practitioners work faster with evidence-backed insights.
Who should use HomeOSense?
Licensed homeopathic physicians, clinic owners, and advanced students who need faster, structured case-taking, remedy analysis, PDF prescriptions, and secure patient records across devices.
How is HomeOSense different from generic symptom checkers?
It uses a 20-question Kent-style intake, dual AI providers (Gemini + Groq) with fallback, materia medica reasoning, potency and dosage guidance, and clinic-branded exports designed for professional practice.
Consultation Flow
How AI consultation and Kent questionnaire work
How do I start a standard consult?
Go to Consult, enter patient details and chief complaint, submit, and review AI-generated remedy suggestions with rationale, potency, dosage, and lifestyle guidance. Export as PDF or share via WhatsApp in one click.
What is the Advanced AI Suggestions (Kent live chat)?
It is an interactive AI physician chat that asks progressive Kent-style questions, captures modalities and concomitants, and refines remedy suggestions in real time with dual-provider validation.
Can patients answer by voice?
Yes. Click the microphone icon to record symptoms; browser speech recognition transcribes voice to text so you capture details hands-free, useful for busy clinics and multilingual inputs.
Accuracy & Safety
Clinical reasoning, limits, and disclaimers
How does HomeOSense ensure remedy accuracy?
The AI maps symptoms to Kent repertory rubrics, cross-checks with materia medica, and uses dual providers to reduce hallucinations. Doctors review and finalize every suggestion before prescribing.
Is this a medical diagnosis tool?
No. It is a decision-support assistant for qualified practitioners. Final clinical judgment, physical examination, and local regulations remain the physician's responsibility.
Does it support follow-ups?
Yes. You can run follow-up consults, review previous recommendations, and adjust potency or dosage while keeping case history consistent with classical homeopathy principles.
Security & Privacy
Data protection, encryption, and access
How is my data protected?
API keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, auth is handled by Supabase, and all traffic uses HTTPS. Patient data stays private and is not used to train external models.
Can I control who accesses my clinic data?
Only authenticated users you approve can access clinic data. Role-based checks ensure admin-only actions like user approvals and API key management stay restricted.
Is voice data stored?
Voice is transcribed in-browser via the microphone feature; the raw audio is not stored by HomeOSense. You can keep or clear transcriptions per your clinic policy.
Access & Pricing
Plans, limits, and usage
Do I need a subscription?
Yes, HomeOSense requires an active subscription to access AI consultation features. View plan details and pricing on our Pricing page, or contact our admin team at +91 9828454414 for custom plans.
Which API keys are required?
At least one provider key (Google Gemini or Groq) is needed. For maximum uptime, add both so the system can auto-fallback if one provider is unavailable.
Can multiple doctors use one clinic account?
Yes. Add team members, approve users from the admin area, and manage role-based access without sharing master keys or compromising security.
Technical
Devices, browsers, and performance
Which devices and browsers are supported?
HomeOSense runs in modern browsers on desktop and mobile. For the best voice input experience, use the latest Chrome or Edge on a stable network.
Does it work offline?
No. AI processing and secure storage require connectivity. Keep a stable internet connection for accurate transcription and provider responses.
How do I report an issue or request a feature?
Use the contact link in the footer or email support with your clinic details, browser version, and a short screen recording for faster troubleshooting.
